Shed One Two Three

SPECIAL EDITION (Price on application)

These re-imagined garden sheds are inspired by Elizabethan tent structures and British modernists landscape sculpture, in particular the works of Barbara Hepworth and Henry Moore.

Serving as refuges for work and play they take on a sculptural dynamic sitting comfortably within all environments whether it be cityscapes, natural landscapes, a desert, close to a lake, within abandoned interiors or placed in your back garden.

The roof gently curves towards the skies capped off by a frameless glass rooflight that rests at an angle channelling rainwater.

These sculptural attributes are also expressed internally where the structural framework of laminated spruce rafters and joists form a delicate skeleton whose appearance continues to change with the position of the sun.

The front of Shed One Two Three includes for glazed sliding aluminium framed doors that open up in a number of configurations allowing the owner an immediate rapport with their outside environment. A further doorway and window are provided on the side flanks. In light of a greater demand for working from home, Shed One Two Three are versatile, high performing havens personalised for you.

They are designed to adapt with ease from being your workspace to catering for your personal interests whether that may be bird watching, drawing, reading or practicing with the band. A reductionist approach towards the materials and the components warrants a calm and contemplative interior ideal for meditation, yoga and Pilates.

Pool Pavilion

FDArchitecture

SPECIAL EDITION (Price on application)

Part of grade 2* property in Oxfordshire Modulr Space and FDArchitecture had been commissioned to design a Pool Pavilion that the Client could use to entertain friends and family.

This Client was keen to match as many of the natural materials used with the Modulr Space structures as he particularly loved the way that the expanded cork and Accoya cladding would fit well with the backdrop of an established meadow beyond the pool building and the views afforded through.

Both Natural Accoya and Charred Accoya are used within this design.

The pool design itself has been developed by Californian based architect Daniel Brill and is beautiful in its simplicity.

A large Accoya drum beneath the canopy houses a large circular Sauna and Steam room, changing and shower area and externally a pool shower, Argentinian grill and large dining area.

At roof level the top of the drum is 100% glass flooding the spaces within with natural light and uninterrupted views of the sky with the remaining area of roof a sedum roof.
